Awareness and training seminar on rice sowing and harvesting machinery

An awareness seminar / training program related to rice sowing and harvesting machinery was organized by Agricultural Engineering Institute, NARC at Narowal under PSDP funded project “Productivity Enhancement of Rice-Rice Mechanization”. Director Agricultural Engineering Institute, NARC, Director Agriculture Extension Gujranwala Division, Director Adaptive Research Gujranwala, Deputy Director Agriculture Extension Narowal, Assistant Director Extension Narowal, Meskay and Femtee Trading Company Gujranwala, BMITCO Agro Services Daskaand rice farmers participated in the event. Awareness was provided to farmers about benefits of using rice production machinery for sowing and harvesting of rice crop to maximize the crop productivity. All the participants shared their experiences with farmers about mechanized production technology and motivated them to adopt this technology for enhancing the crop productivity.
