Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) is an apex scientific & agricultural research organization having its presence in all provinces of the country. National Agricultural Research Centre (NARC), its largest research center located in the vicinity of Chak Shahzad, Islamabad intends to engage qualified and competent incumbent as “Research Assistant” under PSDP funded project “National Surveillance Program for Avian Influenza and Newcastle Disease in Pakistan (NaSPIN)” ASI, NARC,Islamabad.

Position

Research Assistant

Qualification/ experience

DVM from any PVMC registered university along-with M.Phil in the field of Microbiology / Pathology / Public Health from any HEC recognized university.

OR

M.Sc / M.Phil / MS in the field of Microbiology / Pathology / Public Health from any HEC recognized university.

One (01) year relevant experience is required in infectious disease/poultry diagnostic lab.

Expertise in Laboratory Biorisk Management and working at diagnostic lab accredited for ISO-17025 will be preferred.

Age:

18-35 years

Remuneration:

Rs.32,000/- per month (all inclusive)

Duration:

Six months (extendable) or till the life of project whichever is earlier

Working experience with MAPs of Pakistan and field collection & herbarium specimen, Ethno botanical surveys, Photography & microscopy, botanic garden, seed collection and seed bank.

Remuneration:

Rs.40,000/- per month (Fixed all inclusive)

Duration:

For a period upto 31.12.2019 or till the life of project whichever is earlier.
