PARC and Indus Hospital and Health Network, Pakistan to sign MoU for better production of livestock

Islamabad (13th April 2021): Indus Hospital and Health Network, Pakistan is a welfare organization providing free treatment services to the needy patients and working towards betterment of health of poor people. Also they are working to improve the economic conditions of the targeted communities especially in South Punjab and interior Sindh.

In this regard Chairman, Indus Hospital and Health Network Mr. Abdul Karim Parachaparticipated in a online meeting with Chairman PARC Dr. Muhammad Azeem Khan to discuss the possibility if PARC can provide the technical assistance in up-gradation of livestock production of subsistence farmers through scientific means. Chairman, PARC and Chairman, Indus Hospital and Health Network agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) indicating that PARC will become partner with Indus Hospital and Health Network towards betterment of livestock farmers and would provide assistance in improving the production of livestock of subsistence farmers. The better production of livestock would improve the livelihood of farmers and reduce poverty which in turn would improve the health status of farmers and their families through better nutrition.  The meeting was also attended by Director ASI (NARC) Dr. S. Murtaza H. Andrabi.
