ZTBL will collaborate with PARC for up-scaling of PARC innovative technologies for uplift of farming. PARC and ZTBL extend into a joint venture where PARC through technical expertise and ZTBL the credit permission this technical and financial combination with help in transforming of agriculture which will improve farmers livelihood

In the presence Members of Board of Directors of ZTBL PARC has signed a MoU with Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) to establish a collaborative relationship in promoting and adapting latest/novel agricultural technologies, practices, techniques and Agri mechanization for improving Farm efficiency and for the benefits of farming community. Under this MoU PARC and ZTBL may work jointly to conduct Webinars, field days, seminars, workshops etc. to disseminate latest developments in agriculture for uplifting the livelihood of farming community. Both parties may develop partnership, for running of joint ventures, pilot projects and Research activities i.e., establishment of demonstration plots, Research Trials on modern agricultural machinery, agronomic practices, crop diversification etc. ZTBL will conduct Zarai Baithaks as an integrated approach and invite PARC Experts for their research outreach for the appropriate benefits of farming community in various parts of the country.

Dr. Ghulam Muhammad Ali, Chairman PARC said that PARC will facilitate/invite ZTBL in training and capacity building (physically/virtually) of Bank’s staff in improved Agricultural Technology, crop production practices, Dairy/livestock management, Agricultural entrepreneurship and provide technical assistance/guidance to ZTBL in Transformation of ZTBL Farm Islamabad into Agriculture Tourism Center. Dr. Ali said that PARC will advice ZTBL in development of new loan products and value addition in existing loan able credit products for development of Agriculture Sector and shares their research outputs with manufacturers/suppliers of agricultural machinery, progressive farmers across the country.Finally, After signings the MoU Board of Directors of ZTBL visited National Insitute of Genomics & advanced Bio-technology (NIGAB), Aeroponic Green Houses and Farm Machinary Institute. Chairman PARC briefed the Members of Board of Directors of ZTBL about ongoing research activities at NARC. All Members of Board of Directors commended the efforts of PARC in revolutionizing the agriculture sector. Finally Chairman PARC Dr. Ghulam Muhammad Ali thanked Mr. Asad Ullah Habib, President/CEO, ZTBL and hoped that both the parties will collaborate promoting Agro-economy of the country and inflating farmers’ income from agriculture.
