WEED MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

FACILITIES
The Weed Management Programme is a part of Institute of Plant and Environmental Protection, NARC, Islamabad. It has laboratory facility for basic work on weeds. The green house and field studies are conducted on the NARC farm. The Weed Seed Bank and Herbarium houses 200 weed seeds and a reference collection of weeds belonging to 75 families of plants for research purpose. The WMP provides facility of identification of plants, seeds and recommendations of field problems in different crops to farmers, extension officers and the public.
