FACILITIES
Rice Programme has following facilities:
a) At NARC
• Two hectare land for various field trials.
• Grain quality laboratory for evaluation of various quality parameters.
• Storage facility for inputs and paddy harvests.
• Inadequate controlled
environment laboratory facility for entomological studies. Hence these studies
are
conducted at PGRP green houses.
b) At RRI Kala Shah Kaku
• Fifteen acres land for
conducting various out reach studies related to rice and rice-based systems. In
addition,
NUYT and adaptability trials on hybrids are also
conducted at different federal and provincial research institutes of
public and private sector.
