Laboratory facilities

Greenhouse

PBP is equipped with sufficient space of well-established greenhouse for experimentation under controlled-conditions, especially plant establishment during acclimatization process of tissue culturing, large scale screening of germplasm in hydroponic, etc.

National Herbarium Program

  • There are 247 plant families present in the collection with approximately 6,000 genera. The collection comprises
    about 100,000 dried herbarium specimens. It comprises of wild as well as cultivated plants.
