The Institute of Agri-Biotechnology and Genetic Resources (IABGR) is a unique facility for plant germplasm conservation and evaluation. The institute comprises of five the state of the art laboratories for germplasm collection/acquisition, conservation (ex-situ & in-vitro), evaluation and documentation. One field of 2 hectares is fenced to save the crops from vertebrate pests and can be used for the evaluation and multiplication of crops which are damaged by vertebrate pests.
