Which are the media and techniques being used for technology transfer?
Ans. Both print and electronic media are being
used for technology transfer.
Does PARC have a helpline to attend queries from farmers?
Ans. Yes, PARC established a helpline to
attend queries from farmers in April 2004 as PARC-Kisan Helpline. 5780 calls
have been received and responded so far. Most of the queries are for supply of
PARC publications and audio/ visual programs. Helpline also provides solutions
to urgent problems faced by the farming community.

How many audio/ visual programs have been produced by PARC which are available to farming community?
Ans. Approximately
400 audio and 140 video programs have been produced by PARC for the farming
community. These programs include panel discussions, documentaries, dramas,
interviews, agricultural advertisements & spots and “Kissan Bethak”.
Another video production is PARC-Kisan Helpline video program is telecasted
daily from PTV World (Kisan Time). 228 programs of PARC-Kisan Helpline for PTV
World (Kisan Time) have been produced. 88 Programs of PARC-Kisan Helpline for
PARC Kisan Dost Program were produced in 2005-2006 which are available for
farming community.
