  • Collection, evaluation and exchange of germplasm of horticultural crops for improved production and increased biodiversity.
  • Genetic improvement of commercially important flowers, fruits, vegetables including potato and condiments.
  • Assess, improve and develop cost effective technologies for farmers.
  • Advancement in nurseries and seed production techniques.
  • Provide remedial measures for farmers field problems through transfer technology and enhanced capacity of stakeholders to better serve vegetable producers.
