Scientists of the Institute always strives to develop close collaboration with provincial agricultural research and extension bodies by conducting research studies in their proposed areas and providing expert advisory services/inputs in their regular meetings for finalization of crop production plans of all crops being cultivated in the province. SSRI conduct socioeconomic research based studies mainly through cross-sectional, diagnostic and impact type surveys. Institute has capacity to train the new graduate of UAF in the field of of Agricultural and Resource Economics as well as Agribusiness Management.
