Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) an
apex scientific and research organization in the agriculture sector, invites
applications from the suitable qualified, talented, creative and self-motivated
Pakistani nationals for appointment against the following temporary posts
sanctioned on year to year basis, but likely to continue for an indefinite

(Bio-remediation, Environmental Economics, Bio-Economics, Economics) with
05 years experience in the field of bioremediation to treat used water in
varying socio-economic and natural ecological settings. Demonstrated
experience of planning, designing and execution of bio-remediation
projects with reputable organizations at local or national level also
having expertise of bioremediation “Impact and Economic Analysis” (IEA).
Experience in Eco-construction with low cost financial approaches towards
bio-remedial systems for rural and urban areas. Candidate should be the
author of high value manuscript or 5 national and international
publications on the relevant subject. Should have 7-10 years of managerial
experience, be a dynamic, motivated with excellent facilitation and sound
communication skills to lead the team. Computer based knowledge is
essential. |

Integrated Farming

M.Sc. (Hons.) in Soil Sciences with 3 years
experience in the field of Soil Science by evaluating physio-chemical
aspects for soil conservation. Should have practical experience of
integrated farming though efficient irrigation system and field
management. Knowledge of bio-technology with respect to bioremediation of
used-water and contaminated soil is essential.
Should have sound knowledge and experience in
modern integrated farming approaches.
Computer based knowledge is essential. |

Plant Taxonomy

M.Sc. (Botany) with 2 years / M. Phil
(Specialization in Plant Taxonomy) with 1 year research and field
experience in the field of plant taxonomy especially in aquatic plants and
grass systematic with their application for waste water treatment. Sound
knowledge of identification of plants, field collection, orchard
management, Computer knowledge MS Office, Internet, Orientated Language
(C++, Oracle, Java) will be additional qualification. |

Chemistry

M.Sc. (Plant Sciences) with 2 years / M. Phil
(Environmental Sciences / Chemistry) with 1 year research and field
experience in fresh water ecology, having sound knowledge of environmental
chemistry, lab management, EIA. Experience in analysis and bio-remediation
of used waters is essential. Computer based knowledge and proficiency in
MS Office, arc-view desktop, Statistica and PC-Ordwin is essential.

M.Sc. / B.E
(Mecha-tronics) with 03 years practical
experience of coordination with National and Multinational organizations.
Experience of hosting National / International Symposia, Seminars and
hands on practice workshops. Expertise of video conferencing will be an
extra qualification.
Sound experience of conducting National and
International trainings of versatile nature for various walks of life with
the use of electronic and digital tools.
Should have potential to personally exhibit
various activities related to electromechanical nature and also to manage
its disorders.
Candidate with excellent skills in
Web-designing and updating. Can independently design/publish newsletter
and other information material in the field of bio-remediation. |
