Pakistan
Agricultural Research Council (PARC) an apex agricultural research
organization is looking for young, energetic, competent Pakistani
nationals having aptitude for research work for appointment against the
following positions in public sector development project "Research
for Agricultural Development Program (RADP)", Required
qualifications/experience and other conditions are given below. The job

Ph.D. in Agriculture Biotechnology / Plant Breeding / Soil
Science / Botany / Bio-Chemistry / Horticulture with
specialization in Plant Biotechnology / Molecular Genetics,
Horticulture, Plant Breeding, Plant Pathology, Entomology / Plant
Protection, Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering (specialization in
Farm Machinery and Post Harvest Technologies) OR
First Class or Grade B Master / M.Phil degrees Plant Biotechnology
/ Plant Breeding / Soil Science / Botany / Bio-Chemistry or
equivalent qualifications with specialization in Plant
Biotechnology / Molecular Genetics, Horticulture, Plant Pathology,
Entomology / Plant Protection, Agronomy, Plant Breeding,
Agricultural Engineering (specialization in Farm Machinery and
Post Harvest Technologies) with 5 years research experience.
ii.
Analytical skills and sound knowledge about computer
software like SPSS, MS-Word, MS-Excel, SAS etc would be required.

Age:
35 years maximum
Salary:
Rs. 25,000/- (per month
in lumps sum all inclusive)

i.
Fist Class or Grade B Masters / M.Phil degree in
Agriculture Biotechnology / Plant Breeding / Soil Science / Botany
/ Bio-Chemistry with specialization in Plant Biotechnology /
Molecular Genetics, Horticulture, Plant Pathology, Entomology /
Plant Protection, Zoology (Knowledge in Vertebrate Control),
Analytical Chemistry, Agronomy, Plant Breeding, Agricultural
Engineering (specialization in Farm Machinery and Post Harvest
Technologies) with 2 years research experience.
ii.
Analytical skills, sound knowledge about computer software
like SPSS, MS-word, MS-Excel, SAS etc. would be required.

appointments will be on contract basis. Candidates possessing the required

-
Assisting
senior scientists in crop sciences research related work like
collection of reference material, planning and executing research
projects, primary and secondary data collection, data entry, data
analysis and writing scientific reports and papers.

Participating
in all types of laboratory as well as field research activities
including experiment designs, experimental layouts, data collection,
statistical data analysis, field surveys etc.
-
Managing
all collected data, reference material (statistical periodicals,
research reports, journals articles etc.) for different activities of
the project(s) he/she is employed for.

Assisting
the senior scientists in completing day-to-day assignments received
from higher authorities / headquarters.
