DIRECTOR REQUIRED
Pakistan
Agricultural Research Council (PARC) an apex agricultural research
organization invites applications from qualified, competent and
experienced Pakistani nationals for contract appointment against the post
of Project Director under PSDP funded development project "Research
for Agricultural Development Program". The required qualifications /
experience & other requirements are given as under:-

/ Master’s degree in the field of Sciences, Engineering,
Public Management etc.

Private
/Government sector experience of at least 10 years and
appropriate background in implementation of large development
projects/programmes in addition to overall service experience
of 17 years. Must
have leadership qualities and proven track record to manage
and monitor mega projects .Ability to manage a
multi-disciplinary team of professionals and analytical
approach to design specialized monitoring and evaluation tools
to ensure financial control and desired feed back at various
stages of project implementation and efficient & effective
use of available resourses.Experience of working in or with
government organizations and working / hand-on knowledge of
computers will be preferred.

Appointment
will be on Contract Basis with fixed gross salary of Rs. 1,50,000/-
inclusive of all benefits. The period of contract may range from one to

Term
of Reference (TOR)

The
Project Director will be responsible for implementation of the program
over a period of 5 years and he / she will be responsible for
establishment and maintenance of internal administrative and financial
control of the project, under the approved research program as per
PC-I. The PD will report to the Chairman and will be responsible for
successful completion of the project according to the approved PC-I

The
Project Director will be recruited on contract for a period of 5 years
and is required to sign a bond for the period.
