Qualification / Experience & other requirements

Project Monitoring and Evaluation (Progress & Issues in implementation of ToF / FFS approach at field level)

Duration: One month

Remuneration: Rs. 60,000/- plus TA / DA equivalent to BS-19 for a maximum period of 15 days during this one month period.

i)        M.Sc. / Ph.D. in a discipline of Plant Protection, Biological Sciences or Social Sciences with 8-10 years working experience in R&D organization.

ii)      Shall have good writing and communication skills. He / She shall have knowledge and understanding of Farmer Field School (FFS) approach and its processes.

iii)     Experience in facilitation skills and non-formal education under FFS approach will be an added benefit.

JOB DESCRIPTION / TORs  OF CONSULTANT

·        Visit ongoing Training of Facilitators (ToF) and Farmer Filed School (FFS) based IPM  projects being executed by the Federal / Provincial Governments and NGO’s.

·        Monitoring the quality of ToF / FFS process.

·        Identify issues and bottlenecks in field implementation of FFS approach.

·        Scope and Challenges to FFS in Pakistan.

·        Prepare and furnish a technical report.
